Get idea in every way! It stops bloating because it takes my pup much longer to finish her food (about 15 minutes). There are two small rubber pads the bottom of the bowl that keep it from moving everywhere. Instead of pushing it or flipping it to get the food out, my dog ends up going around it in circles to find her scrumptious treasure. It's also mentally stimulating and tires her out! My partner calls it the dog's "torture bowl" but I call it mommy's best friend! The other bowls like this have gross designs that make me want to throw up but this bowl's design is aesthetically pleasing.
