handles heavy and hot casseroles with ease
I've used it twice in the last week! That's very pleasant. But more importantly, I was able to take the lasagna right out of the oven and put it straight into the container. It was heavy (it was delicious lasagna in a nice 4.2 liter ceramic pot) and I could carry it by the handle, although I could carry it from the bottom if I wanted to. Now I may have to find a support for the Dutch Oven.
