Quality Sportster Fork Extender

I wanted to raise the front of my 1992 Sportster Hugger and decided on these fork extenders. These are stainless steel threaded extensions with a hole on top to tighten on top of the front fork. They were made in China (but well made) and arrived in a form fitting styrofoam lined box. These suction cups are HEAVY. These threaded "plugs" replace the top of the forks that you would normally remove to add fork oil. You don't need PVC washers to take up play in the road spring during installation. Snails were a '70s fad used to lengthen the front of a motorcycle to give it a "chopper bad" look. In the past, some people may have taken this concept too far, and there are urban legends about plug extensions piling up and leading to fatalities. I haven't found any solid evidence of this. If you leave the extensions about halfway down the triple clamp you'll be fine (just don't try to jump them over the Snake River Canyon). Ease of installation. I installed mine when I changed the fork oil. They've been on my bike for four months and still have no problems. Does not affect handling. highlighted.
