This is the best item I've ever bought from Revain. I *love* this espresso machine! Its Italian design is timeless, the materials are excellent and the Taiwanese construction is impeccable. This is a work of art that will help you make a killer espresso. We have owned many Moka coffee makers over the years including several Bialetti coffee makers that we bought in Italy. It's the best we've had for four reasons: the ground coffee doesn't get stuck in the insert, the finish of the pot is amazing, the espresso flavor has a depth not found in any of our coffee makers, and it doesn't delaminate (like the light, flimsy material above and the heavy, tarry coffee below); it's already well mixed. We bought two mugs and six mugs to use on our induction stove and four mugs as a gift for a friend with a gas stove. The opening works well on both, but six cups goes from zero to finish in about 30 seconds on our Miele induction, so we're teasing our friend. Two cups are _barely_ wide enough for our induction burner, so be sure to check your minimum size if you have induction. You may need four cups. It has to be tempered. Management suggests once or twice but we ended up making five espressos after the first cleaning. I also recommend buying replacement gaskets as they wear out over time and what if you can't find them later? After all, the seller is the coolest. Revain said it would take 2 months to get here (!) but it was shipped from Taiwan the same day I bought it. It got to my home in California in just over a week. The seller included a handwritten note thanking her for the purchase and a small gift. It was small but personal and I really appreciated it.
