As usual I did not read the instructions before switching on. The sound is still ringing in my ears. It pierced me to the core. Okay, I thought, maybe at least this will keep my dog from going where it shouldn't be. So I did a test. I put it in front of the door where my dog comes in and called her. The alarm clock rang, she pricked her ears and walked towards him as if to sniff him. I think it might work for some animals but for some reason my dog is more responsive to text messages coming in on my phone. I have no idea why, but this little dad sends them the other way. It won't work for me. If anyone wants it, send me a message. Pay the shipping and I'll ship it to you for free. Don't think it's right to return it as it's certainly a powerful wake-up call.
