This was easy to install and seems to work, greatly reducing radiant heat. The material is not very durable. Breaks on sharp edges. This is something you may need to repeat on a regular basis. I don't blame the material. I think it is. Also remember that it is actually fiberglass. You want to use gloves. It's pretty fire resistant. I tested the piece with a torch and heated it well above the exhaust temp and it didn't burn out, but it seemed weakened. Also, it seems prone to fading. Some tips I've seen for applying exhaust paint to it after installation will help preserve the dark color. It seemed to work. After heavily wrapping two 36 inch headers I had over half a bale left.
