I needed a spherical hinge for a homemade propane stove I was building that would allow me to easily rotate the lid to access the pan. After a few days of searching, I decided on this brand based solely on the pictures. When it arrived I was quite disappointed due to its triangular weldable finish. Instead of sending it back I decided to ask my neighbor who would cook it for me and he didn't think it would be a problem. After it was welded to my tank there was a gap issue between the cap and the tank body which I was able to solve by adding an extra washer to the pin. The only other issue I see is the number of games in two pairing halves, but that's not a deciding factor for me. I understand they are not normally used for vertical loads so only time will tell.
