This product really deserves a five star rating. Let me be very clear here: I HAVE 4C HAIR, I don't actually have 4C hair. I spend so much time detangling my hair it's ridiculous! I have my watch and I've tried every trick in the book. By the time I'm done with one section, the other is messed up again. My hair is so thick it takes me 45 minutes to blow dry it so I just never did it. I was able to blow dry my hair on a cool setting in 20 minutes. I used a heat protectant along with a leave-in and some black castor oil on the ends. Now I can comb my hair. I'm so relaxed I think I'll start to see some real growth now that I'm not procrastinating on laundry days because I just don't have time for all this detangling. Not to mention that I've always lost a lot of hair while detangling. There was some hair in the brush styler but nothing compared to my usual hair loss. I love this product. I did notice that high settings were very hot, I just used cool settings and it worked wonders. The bristles are very flexible and the bristle tips are rounded. I've read that some people have had trouble getting their roots to dry out. I had no problems at all. This product is worth its price. I would pay three times as much just to have my hair parted without tangling.
