Wet dog food, dry
My lab suffered from foot problems for almost a year and a half before my vet found the perfect solution, but unfortunately my hiking buddy gained some weight during that time. I was sure he wrinkled his nose at wet food for weight maintenance, but he actually liked it. Now he's on meds every day and this food covers it up and I'm sure he'll be back to hiking weight in no time.
