The only problem is the suede backing, not the treated leather on either side. I have never owned a suede belt. Update: The blue suede back is a big minus. I've only ever worn it with blue jeans. I wore it with khakis and the unfinished blue suede back matched my khakis and light colored pants. abominable. Now it's illegal to buy in my opinion unless you wear blue jeans exclusively.
