I like being able to charge them via USB but it's impractical to do it with AA batteries. Especially since I had to flip it multiple times to get it right. Aluminum is difficult to screw in, needs some lubricant. It has 2 modes, bright and low, when it is on it becomes so bright, half press to dim it. With full batteries you will light up the room. but if you want to repair a socket, for example, it is better to downgrade. the magnet is very strong. as long as you don't touch it if you hit him, he will fall. don't stay touch. You can adjust the long arm by holding the base. Although the head is quite large, I was hoping for a smaller one. I use this as a microscope light and while a bit impractical it works quite well. Sticking it to metal is better than balancing it on a table.
