Review on PetSafe Stubborn Dog Indoor Adjustable 🐶 Pet Barrier & Collar for Effective Training by Joyce Swihart

I bought this hoping it would keep my English Bulldog away from our living room and furniture. Unfortunately it isn't. We tried three nights in a row and it failed every time. We had a problem with the collar. We put on the collar exactly as indicated in the instructions (there should be a finger between the collar and the dog's neck). Our dog went straight into the living room and the collar vibrated and shook. The second night we adjusted the collar so the electricity came out of his neck. It worked for a moment, until he lowered his collar. In order for the creature to have enough contact with the dog to feel the impact, we had to make the collar so tight that it couldn't breathe. This might have worked better with other pets, but it didn't work with the more laid-back English bulldog. By the way, for such a price the collar should have a battery, but it wasn't.
