Review on 🚗 Arkon Radar Detector Windshield Car Mount by Ryan Bennett

I have a Beltronics STI Magnum Radar Detector. I use it with a mirror powered blendmount mirror mount on my 2010 Corvette. This works great but they don't make a similar mount for my 2015 Cadillac XTS. The suction cup mount that comes with the Beltronics detector just won't stay on the windshield. So I bought a windshield mount for the Arkon RDMET01 radar detector. However, when I received it and tried to attach it to the windshield, it didn't last more than a minute or so. As I looked at the suction cup, I saw a mistake that I was sure that it prevented the suction cup from sealing. Thought I didn't have $14 more than what I paid for it, I took a picture and emailed Arkon. Customer service. Sent them a photo of the cup and asked if there was anything they could do. I got a quick reply and a promise to send me a new mount. Received within a few days and works great. Any product can have a manufacturing defect from time to time, but when a manufacturer backs a product with such an easy exchange, you have to give them credit. Therefore, every time I look for an Arkon product, I turn to them first.
