I had to buy a sideload holder because of the only way I can fit a 40 ounce Hydro Cell bottle in and out of the holder in the designated slot on my bike; set up the mount, put my bottle in (it fits snugly), walked to the beach, after a 5 minute ride on a mostly concrete bike path I hit a patch of sand which stopped the bike in its tracks and jumped out. Bottle on Concrete The sound of the bottle hitting the concrete made such a loud bang, almost like the bursting of a small balloon, that all the groups of people walking in front of me turned and watched what I was doing. The brand new bottle was dented and the cap holder was broken. Not very happy with that. The solution would be to include a velcro strap to hold the bottles, which I think should be included as standard. I also thought it was worth noting that regular sized Propel plastic bottles will not fit in this holder; it is too little. As for the quality of the mount itself (aside from the fatal flaw of your bottle falling out), it's pretty good. It's made of metal and comes with everything you need to install it on your bike.
