This is a beautiful shower curtain! We are getting settled into a new home and are looking forward to waking up each morning to the cheerful botanical pattern in mixed shades of green on white.I like the weight of the polyester curtain. It's heavy enough that I think you could use it by itself. However, my wife says as pretty as it is, we'll use a liner so it doesn't get yucky with soap scum, mildew and hair products. Because the stitching is so far apart, she's a bit concerned about whether it may come undone at some point soon. However, she did appreciate that the raw edges are all neatly stitched under, so there is nothing to unravel or catch on things.I am a bit disappointed that the buttonhole openings at the top are not very well sewn. I think that stainless steel grommets would be better. I am also pretty sure we are going to get different shower curtain rings, since the simple plastic link-style rings had to be put on the rod very carefully to avoid snapping them in half.At the time of this review, the list price for this set was just shy of $26, but it was on sale for a few dollars less. I'd say that's about $5-10 more than what you should be paying, considering the quality. If it has stainless steel grommets, sturdier shower curtain rings, and/or a tension rod included, then I might pay that much. If you can get this set for $10-15, then that's about right. Just be prepared to get your rings elsewhere.
