I don't know what went wrong here. They tend to have a rich sound quality and almost always get my ears buzzing with volume (which is a good thing). But this time, it almost sounds like you're talking in a tunnel or under water. Absolutely terrible. However, it's possible that my audio is messed up due to a specific Windows update. So you should take what I say with a pinch of salt. If I find out that this is my update I will remove it immediately as these are very good headphones for the price you are paying.
