These knives are made for sex in the kitchen. But less cumbersome and messy. They are amazingly sharp, much sharper than old knives from Walmart or other big department stores. The price for it is huge given the sleek looks and performance. The covers are wonderful! I can keep them in a drawer without fear of ruining them. They are hand washed and dried once used and I understand this keeps the edge intact. I don't work in a fancy kitchen, but if I did, they could get thieves' blood because they're so cool they'd have to be protected from sticky fingers who don't know how to use Amazon.
