Mixed feelings about this lens. I will write as it is, what nuances I met. On the one hand, excellent modern glass, Tamron, well done, they know how to make good optics. It can be seen that they are working on the quality of enlightenment in lenses, there are no complaints about the design, materials. The picture from it is voluminous, sharp, detailed. Max Guselnikov advertised it for a reason. On the other hand, for its price, there are a lot of problems: vignetting at open to f / 4 remains quite strong (I never thought I would complain about it). The white balance at 1DX on the machine goes quite warm. And most importantly, unstable autofocus is one thing if it constantly smeared (correction through the docking station would help), but it either hits or makes a series of misses. What is in One Shot, what is in the tracking on 1DX. By the way, on the same camera I have no problems with either sigma or native glasses (without corrections). Thus, on some shootings, I screwed up the shots so well. Judging by the reviews, there are problems even on the UPC EOS R / R6 / R5. Yes, Tamron shows himself well on modern multi-pixel cameras, but he does not agree with the opinion that this glass is almost better than 35LII. In terms of quality, specimens float strongly, there is something to work on. Perhaps you need to choose a copy and test it, but I ordered it remotely from the Tamron MSC official store.
