I use two of these to hold my wife's HP 27 monitors on a dual arm monitor stand on her desk. The product works but is not perfect. The square mounting holes for the VESA compatible mount are not centered on the back of the monitor, so your mounting area will be different than most VESA compatible monitors. One of the four screws that came with it was the wrong size. The metal plate has no thread. Instead, screws are used to attach the adapter to the mounting plate. The kit also didn't have lock washers for a more secure fit. I went to Home Depot and bought #8-32 short machine screws and lock washers and I was in business. Keep in mind that the HP monitor has its own built-in tilt adjustment, so you may need to tilt the mount back a bit to allow for that extra portability. In addition, the shape makes it difficult to insert the screw cylinder into the adapter sleeve. Large hands may find it difficult to fit between the panel and the back of the monitor. The product is fine. Could use a bit better design and features.
