I bought the car thinking my 15 and 5 year olds would be good at batting. Well, sometimes not. Accuracy depends on sporadic distance, otherwise forwards and backwards it always hits the target. My 15 year old is 6ft 4" and with this on the highest setting he doesn't get in his punching zone, we had to put him on a table in the yard. Now my 5 year old works perfectly because he's right in his zone and can go a bit higher so I'd say probably under 10 year olds can benefit from this otherwise spend money on a real machine. This throws real balls - we used this about 5ft from the car, but the highest point is about 2-3ft. Cheap plastic, otherwise we already broke the adjustment of the front legs on the block. Would I buy more? Yes, if I have more small children, otherwise no.
