The children had a lot of fun for about 1 hour. The catapult collapsed. You'd think the launcher would be made out of something other than brittle plastic for the price. This could be great fun for the kids. I'm perfectly capable of finishing the machine, but I need a spare catapult. I felt great about this product but now the kids are mad at me and I feel like a fool.

Disappointed that I even had to give this item a star. The first was delivered with a broken trajectory arm handle. The bullets never made it through the lever that placed them in the ejector. I experimented with the position of the funnel for the ball but it didn't work. We got a replacement car, the spring was removed from the bolt. Bought this as a car to relieve stress in my garden. It turned into me and my son hitting the ball for hours. This machine works great and the only reason I give it 4 stars out of 5 is that the screw on the balance legs fell apart after a while, but it's nothing a gorilla glue can't fix. Sometimes the balls don't pop, but it gives the batter more dexterity to grab one or reach for the plate. I haven't played baseball in ages and the new hits have reignited my love for the game.

I bought the car thinking my 15 and 5 year olds would be good at batting. Well, sometimes not. Accuracy depends on sporadic distance, otherwise forwards and backwards it always hits the target. My 15 year old is 6ft 4" and with this on the highest setting he doesn't get in his punching zone, we had to put him on a table in the yard. First of all, it must be admitted that this is NOT a feeding machine. This is a "soft launcher". Its purpose is to throw the baseball high enough in the air for you to hit it with a bat or catch it and throw it to someone else. Once you accept it as such, it does the job pretty well.
