This scanner is actually one of the easiest interfaces I have ever used. The operation is quite intuitive without having to consult the manual. It's just plug and play and the controls are simple and easy to understand. Unfortunately, even though my 1995 Subaru Legacy was OBDII capable, this scanner didn't read trouble codes. The scanner materials say it's for 1996 and newer vehicles, but I was hoping it would still work. Not exactly the manufacturer's fault - it was clear I was taking a risk. This worked on my 2004 Honda Pilot. It's quite capable for the price.
