Don't buy, you will regret it.

In general, DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. Here's what you need to know before you spend money on this fan. In short, this won't work in an RV that has any DC voltage fluctuations. This fan only operates between 12.4 and 13.6 volts. The support people were nice and very forthcoming about the PCB voltage issue when I called them to troubleshoot two fans I had installed in my RV before leaving for a trip. Before I left I installed the fans, turned them on, both worked and I thought the job was done. Big mistake. On the first day of the trip I turned one on while we were out and after about 30 seconds it stopped working, flashing green light, beeping 10 times and turning off. Tried other fans, same thing. After we stopped for the night I researched the issue online (you should do the same before you buy) and found it to be a common problem with PCB faults, voltages above 13.6 or DC voltage fluctuations. Driving down the road the RV drains the batteries to 14.1 causing the circuit board to fail. If I stop overnight and plug into AC, my charger will drain the batteries to 13.7 causing the board to fail. The Maxxfan tech told me to completely remove DC power from the fan (you can't just flip a switch or disconnect the battery) to reconfigure the board. For me this included removing the trim ring from the fan bracket, removing the fan faceplate to reveal the circuit board, pulling out the wires I pushed back into the ceiling during installation, unplugging the wire nut, waiting 1 minute. , reconnect everything, test fan. Yes, it worked for about 20 seconds. Then another call to a Maxxfan technician led me to find out about the voltage issue. I've been told that their circuit boards are very "sensitive" to power fluctuations. I ordered some voltage regulators from Revain and fixed the problem, but as soon as we get home I'm going to rip those junk parts out of my RV and replace them with some awesome fans like I was supposed to.
