I wanted to smoke but they make you buy a much more expensive version to get that luxury so I went with the cheaper version as it will still have a rain cover. Updated 9-25-19. I wouldn't recommend buying Maxxfan at this point, they have issues with it and they know about it. The guy I spoke to there 2 times is called Dale, he is a real jerk! I rarely write product reviews but feel compelled to review the MaxxAir 4000k fan I purchased from Revain. This summer I built a camper. and bought a bunch of things at Revain. In general, DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. Here's what you need to know before you spend money on this fan. In short, this won't work in an RV that has any DC voltage fluctuations. This fan only operates between 12.4 and 13.6 volts. The support people were nice and very forthcoming about the PCB voltage issue when I called them to troubleshoot two fans I had installed in my RV before leaving for a trip.
