Tastes fruity, as described in the insert, but not unpleasant, as some reviews say. My 14 year old son uses it too. As for the packaging, some of the toothpaste spilled onto the bottle and dried up before I received it. I suspect it got hot somewhere along the way. I gave it five stars for value for money because I think you get a decent amount of toothpaste for the price. However, I'm not sure if this product whitens teeth as advertised - the only reason I bought this product. Sometimes I look in the mirror after brushing my teeth and I think it worked but other times I look in the mirror and I think no it didn't work lol. In general, I advise you to try.
