Review on 🐹 9-Inch Silent Runner Wheel with Cage Attachment for Hamsters, Gerbils, and Mice by Angie Gonzalez

I *love* this balance bike. I've had Syrian hamsters for years and have struggled to find an exercise wheel that either A) didn't take up too much space in the cage, B) started to squeak after a few weeks, and C) hurt my paws. I've tried silent spinners, I've tried plastic saucers, I've tried everything. I wish I had never heard of Silent Runner. This is the perfect size for a Syrian (even one the size of my current boy) that doesn't take up cage space. It attaches perfectly to wire cages, but comes with a stand if you're using a tub or glass aquarium. Unlike the wheels I've found at the pet store, when attached to the cage's wiring it doesn't rattle or rumble when the hamster walks over it. In terms of noise, the Kaytee Silent Spinner still holds the crown for the quietest impeller I've found. This wheel is quiet and the sound it makes when in use is most like rain hitting a window. Not bad. However, I don't know how to remove the lid to clean it. So by far this is definitely the hardest to clean wheel I've bought. But the flyer that came with it said it was easy to clean so I must be doing something wrong / I have very weak hands that can't remove the cap. Overall, this is a solid and quiet impeller that offers optimal cage space. for your hamster and it is very attractive and my hamster seems to enjoy the privacy it offers with holes rather than open access! Definitely recommend to friends and will buy again.
