We have an above ground pool with an inflatable ring, in a recent storm the ring was punctured by a stick. I bought this after the original patch (which came with the pool) only lasted a few days. My problem seems to be that the tape/patch gets very hot at 80 degrees and between that and air pressure the glue doesn't work. I've seen it with a temperature claim of 70-200 degrees and water resistance. win / win. nope Cleaned up the gap, put regular T-Rex tape (which I LOVE) in the gap and this tape on the outside. Everything was great. Woke up the next morning, still great. The sun rose, warming the spot, and the next time they looked out it was perfectly flat. The patch was wrinkled and air blew from the sides. I felt drained like a swimming pool. I also bought a 4 inch roll but have since canceled. I hope I find something that works.
