Both single and bevel cuts require the use of an internal scale. I posted a photo. That's how it should read. Single notch - use outer scale. Angle cut - use internal scale. And what's funny, if you look at the Spanish words, they're spelled correctly. Single cut - says use la escala external, but in English it says use internal scale. Don't buy this one, it will only confuse you more. Spend a few more dollars and spell one correctly
