The point of paying more for these lights just because of the remote control was because where I wanted these lights to be was going to be a hassle to reach and turn them off manually every time I wanted to use them. The first purchase the letter B was not turning off completely with the remote. I contacted the vendor and they sent me a replacement right away. I use rechargeable batteries and in the pictures the letter B looks brighter because those batteries have more charge but they look so good and now they are working completely fine! Recommend this vendor and lights.
