The upper was a bit tight. My shoe size is 6.5 and my thigh size is 12.5. I work 8 hour shifts and need extra support. If you like thin socks and don't care that they're cotton at the bottom AND you don't mind a toe seam (not that bad, but I'm crazy) I'd recommend them for the price and compression. BUT the thin socks and the feeling that my feet were sweating and slipping in the boots hurt me. My legs were fine, but my legs were killing me! Also a bit tight around the ankles but then again I have short legs so who knows.
