Price and Brand You expect better quality control. I bought this set and other dinnerware from this brand a very expensive $30 set of 4 bowls a while back and I literally unboxed them now and it was factory damaged. The solution to this was to sign up for their "Spare Parts" program which of course makes you buy everything again and they give you a 50% discount but their prices are higher than Amazon so you're on You end up paying the same as you paid through amazon. Very disappointing. I know it's partly my fault as I didn't open right away and maybe I could get a replacement through Amazon, but the quality control from this Lenox company is really bad.
