The only downside I have is that it comes with a Microsoft label. Otherwise, I swear by this mouse for my mobile computing life. Pros: 1) Soft/light left/right clicks. Other "famous brand" mice give you that annoying loud "click" you hear and take a lot more effort. This is the only portable mouse with "ThinkPad Buttons" quality. Think of it as a mouse equivalent to ThinkPad keyboards. 2) Ideal weight and balance. Not difficult and not too easy. Pefect.3) Contour/shape for small to medium hands. If you were born a cannibal, try it out in a store or something before you buy it. 4) Textured surface. The surface of the mouse that touches the important parts of your palm is made of a soft texture that is very comfortable. 5) Long battery life. Expect to change an AA battery about every 2-3 months, depending on usage. 6) The wireless dongle fits snugly on the back of the mouse. The latest versions of mouse buttons are even smaller than before. 7) Durability. The bottom friction pads, transparent elements that ensure the mouse glides smoothly, will not wear out over time or come off like other cheap mice. All-round stable construction. I haven't broken one yet and have had it for years. 8) This mouse is so well rounded that it's not just a "portable" mouse. I personally use it for my desktop as well as for travel. Disadvantages: 1) more expensive than necessary. 2) not intentional and may be uncomfortable with large hands. 3) The Microsoft logo is attached to the mouse. But this time, I give credit for what deserves credit.
