Superb full color Zigbee bulb. Works great with Smartthings and ActionTiles. Zigbee range is excellent, I have one of these a very long way from my hub with no Zigbee repeater in between - and it connects and works great. I wasn't sure what it would be, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The colors are good, bright and juicy. Colors are less vibrant at full brightness, but when the brightness is turned down, the colors really come into their own. When they're needed for general white lighting, they're very bright. Our entryway lights are like that, so if our alarm system goes off (smoke, carbon monoxide, security) they turn red, letting us know not to enter the house even if we do we didn't. See notifications on our phones (my daughter doesn't always check her phone). We also have one in a lamppost next to our driveway and in a large bay window overlooking the street. The alarm system can turn them on and flash blue or red, allowing the police, ambulance or fire department to easily identify the home if they are ever called. Scenes: This is a lot of fun. You can create scenes to enhance your home theater or darken them with a reddish tint to add atmosphere to an action movie. An eerie blue glow for a spooky movie. As they want. I have one in the boiler room that lets me know the humidity level. When I turn on the light, the first 15 seconds are green (humidity below 55%) or blue (humidity above 55%). Then it switches to white light. A separate humidity sensor relays humidity readings to Smartthings, and Smartthings tells the bulb what to do. You can do a lot, the bulbs work great and I'm very happy with them. If they were cheaper I would put them all over the house. Competition: I also had a colored Yeelight bulb. It also worked fine, but it got very hot during operation and I was afraid of a fire. I got rid of it Maybe it was bad, I only had one. I also tried another colored Zigbee bulb but it seemed to me that it had a split personality. It remembers what color was set when you turn it on and off, but it changes its brightness. How annoying. It was awful and he gave it back to Revane. I forgot the brand of this bulb so no names. So, Sengled Color - they are amazing, take them. The only thing that irritates me is the price, hence 4 stars. However, they are still cheaper than Philips Hue.
