My dog and I live in the UK; The street is always damp and dirty. He used to have rough collar stains on the white areas of his chest that could only be removed with a good scrub. This rubber collar doesn't rub off excess material and if it gets dirty I just rinse it out in the sink. It dries quickly and I can use it on my next outing in a few hours. I loved it so much I even bought a tiger tail rubber leash so now we don't have a wet leash when we come home from a wet walk. We've had it for a year now and with constant use it's still very durable. An excellent purchase for those living in humid climates, or even just for hiking or mud activities.
