When I received these boots, I was extremely impressed with the look and feel. I bought them for ice fishing and they were comfortable and kept my feet warm while standing on the ice. The second time I wore them, it was a longer trip and I ended the day with wet feet (they are only waterproof up to the tongue). The third time I wore them, one of the lace eyelets popped out on the left boot, so I can no longer lace them up properly. In summary, these are great boots that lack staying power. I'd recommend spending an extra $50 and buying a pair that won't fall apart.
