Review on Poptrend Halloween Festival Masquerade Carnival by Alex Ferry

A great little addition to my last minute Halloween supplies and let me tell you I was beyond impressed with this little thing. Arrived on time, well packaged - nothing damaged or even tagged. After getting some double fives for this thing, it was time to turn off the lights and look in the mirror. I'm not sure if the photos accurately reflect how creepy this thing is! It glows quite brightly and the design is brilliantly bold! Two slitted eyes and a crooked grin are downright creepy for an intimidating yet appropriate family costume. In addition, it has 3 modes: monochromatic, slow strobe and fast strobe. I love the last two when the room is very, *very* dark and I can walk up to someone and all they see is the flicker of the mask getting closer and closer. However, he didn't appreciate it as much as I did. The only small things I didn't like about this product are the following: The LED strip they use for the lighting is actually quite audible when switched on - it makes a very high pitched buzz that I can imagine that it gets annoying after a while (Of course this can only add to the atmosphere of the mask if you do it right. Also, I've had several complaints from people I've had the chance to lend the mask to that the crossed LED strips in front of their eyes make it difficult to borrow However I didn't find it really hard to get used to the tunnel vision and see through the stripes so it can actually be toned down All in all - great design, pretty solid construction Love it!
