I bought these to skateboard. When you receive them they are covered in this super sticky lube. This makes them fundamentally unsuitable for skating. I took a bone cleaning kit and cleaned 8 of them with some kind of cleaner, smeared them with 2 drops of bone cream, reattached the very thin rubber protectors and put them in the wheels. There's no way you can meet ABEC 7 tolerances because the bearings play vertically and horizontally as you move them. The ride was incredibly rough and noisy, but they roll well. I'm not sure I would recommend them for skating. I'll probably use them for riding in the rain and just replace them when they get rusty as I have 92 more left.
