Review on Thermaltake Core P3 ATX Tempered Glass Gaming Computer Case Chassis: Open Frame, Wall-Mounted, Riser Cable Included - Black Edition by Greg Mahoney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy and beautiful body. So many customizable options. Why not build it into your desk?

I absolutely love this case and for the low price it's a godsend. Especially with tempered glass. It is truly one of a kind and will display your goods in style. This thing is very strong, although heavy. The screws on the glass are strong enough to keep this thing hung under my desk that I built it into. The placement options and the ability to display the GPU vertically are great. I had no problems with the PCI-e riser for my MSI GTX-1080. I ended up buying a second PCI riser card for my Wi-Fi card. Assembly - The instruction manual does not describe the assembly in great detail. I had a very hard time figuring out which of the 10 screw options was the right one to hold each part (trial and error). I wish there was some sort of L-shaped bracket or something to mount my 5 old Noctua fans around the case for more airflow. Thermal performance is 2-4 degrees better than my Corsair spec-01 sealed case. I wish the back cover wasn't some crappy metal latch that always misses 1 notch. Can't complain otherwise they would have had to raise the price. What I learned from the build is to put the GPU in front of the control box when mounted with a stand. Use thumbscrews for all 4 GPU bracket mounting points. Before you do anything, remove the heavy wall mount plate inside. Helps reduce weight if you don't plan to wall mount it. Attach large feet and small rubber feet so you can rotate it during installation.
