Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Ice 195/65 R15 95T winter by Stanisaw Lewczuk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Departure on these tires 2 seasons and 22 thousand km. on an all-wheel drive Tiguan. The tires were made in Japan, week 15, 2022, I didn’t specifically chase the country of production. Size 225/60 R17. During this time, impressions have developed. The Japanese turned out to be a solid and balanced product in terms of characteristics. Very pleased with the softness of rubber and overall acoustic comfort. Grip on clean pavement is excellent, almost no different from summer tires, there is a slight roll: a consequence of a very soft sidewall. It rows well in snow and slush, it did not let me down in the winter forest. Snow rolls at speed pass confidently, at first it was a little pointy, but then I got used to it. As with any friction clutch on clear ice and ice, you should not expect any special miracles from it, on such coatings a spike would be preferable. However, with careful and careful driving, this tire will take you anywhere: it forgives many mistakes, a slip into a skid occurs predictably, but it is better not to allow this at all. For 2 seasons, wear is negligible: 7.5 mm tread remaining I’ve been riding friction wheels for 12 years, I’ve tried both hakku (R2, R3) and previous blizzak models (revo 2, vrx), but this one pleases me the most: I think the Japanese are now making the best non-studded on the market. The price, of course, has now flown somewhere into the deep space region, but it’s better not to save on safety. Highly recommend

Pros
  • Quiet, predictable handling, comfort, durability
Cons
  • Price, traction on ice and ice
