Very happy with the purchase. Unlike some of its competitors, it's designed specifically for use with the iMac. The iMac base is securely inserted into the slot provided and then held in place. with set screw. It just doesn't move within the block. The swivel function requires very little pressure, but just enough not to react to random vibrations on your desk. However, my Mac seems more stable on the table than ever. In fact, if one can say that there is one downside to this device, it's that it takes significantly more effort to move your iMac from one place to another on your desk. The rubber feet underneath this turntable create enough friction to prevent both accidental and intentional slipping. On the plus side, it matches the iMac's color and finish perfectly, and is an elegant solution for anyone who needs to rotate their computer lightly or frequently.
