Review on 🚲 Victagen USB Rechargeable Bike Light Set - Easy Installation, Powerful Front and Back Bicycle Headlight for Mountain and Road Bikes by Jake Mccallum

I've been using this lamp for commuting for about 8 months. The projected light is nice and bright and I like the 3 different intensity levels. But there are a few things that make it impossible for me to give more than 3 stars. 1. - The charge level indicators are always on when the battery is connected. That is, if you do not want the battery to discharge when not in use, you must disconnect it from the light source. 2nd - Charge level indicators do not show charge level - twice I started a ride with three lights on and the light turned off mid ride. After the first time I was quite religious with charging after 2-3 rides (each ride lasts about 45 minutes - I only use the light on my commute to work normally). I thought I only got one ride on it this morning but after the lights went out and still had 4 miles to go I remembered riding it last week and not charging it - it really sucks im to drive in the dark. 3. The charging port is not Micro USB, so only the included round USB port can be used for charging. Not a big deal, but what if you need to charge at work to get home safely? That's right, plan ahead and be more careful with your charging intervals. Edit 10/23/21 I was contacted by the company and asked to reconsider my review. No, everything I said was based on my experience. They said they made some changes since 2018 - nice to know. I don't know what changed since I didn't buy the new version. If you're considering this light and opting out of reviews, you should probably look at the new reviews or see if they list improvements in the description. Give me a $50 gift certificate. no I wonder how many people picked up on this? They have a 4.5 star rating and over 4,000 reviews - I can't understand why they are trying so hard to get me to delete my review?
