The queen of cats reigns and her word is law: MORE. NOW.

I make most of my dog and cat food at home, but it's nice to have something simple when I don't have the time or energy to make it fresh. My wild cat is very picky; if her food isn't like that, then she'd rather catch a mouse for herself. But she's grown up and doesn't hunt as fast anymore, so I'm trying to whet her appetite with more variety around the apartment. There was NO need to coax the beef and rabbit formula out of her - she started meowing as soon as I sniffed her. opened pack, wouldn't leave me until her plate hit the floor, cleaned up (1/4 pack, about half her usual serving size) in exactly 60 seconds - not a given as she often prefers to eat a little and then sweep up back to the others later - then cleaned up what had fallen on the floor and licked the empty plate so thoroughly that she was within a foot of where she started before remembering they were begging for more from everywhere could and started to come at me for another helping. I've never seen her so excited about anything other than raw sushi tuna (and her own fresh fish, of course). The ingredient list looks pretty good, with broth, chicken, beef, pork liver, and rabbit being the top five ingredients. then wheat flour, offal, water and wheat gluten. The sauce is white so judging by the wheat listing I'm guessing it's mainly used to thicken the sauce which is good as more would probably be too much for the obligate carnivore. The food is probably made in Ukraine. to EU quality standards as the EU is Ukraine's main trading partner (the US manufacturer's website says they sell to 37 countries but I haven't seen which ones; however, they also have an EU website that probably indicates points of sale in this region). The retail price when I got mine was $3.33 for a 3 ounce pouch - oops. But quality comes at a price, and since she loves it, it's worth spending at least some of it on.
