Cardboard and tape, suitable for home office furniture

Basically this pad is made from recycled paper covered with a cheap and easily scratched laminate. It's literally sealed with duct tape. This makes it fairly easy to assemble and requires no tools - insert cardboard tube pins into the holes, peel off the backing tape, line up the pieces and snap together. It's not very durable and had a few dents around the edges when unpacked. I bought it to turn on its side and use as a printer stand under my desk. After reading the instructions, I learned that the product is only designed to hold the weight in an upright position. This was confirmed when the tape at the seams began to unravel under the weight of the printer. After a trip to the hardware store for about $10 worth of T-brackets and corner braces, I now have a workable printer stand with a little paper storage. However, for fifty bucks I could do better and get a simpler and more durable solution for less money. this is exactly what you are looking for. I think it's too much money for what you get.
