Quality EGR valves are made to specification, aftermarket valves are random at best.
This product was perfect. I've tried several other aftermarket valves and none of them worked. This valve costs 2-3 times more than other valves. Outwardly they all looked the same. One of the cheaper valves I used that didn't work was replaced with the same results. I've always believed in quality, but if I could save 200-300 percent, sometimes I'd take a risk. The valve was very easy to replace which allowed me to play around with it. Every Dorman product I have ever purchased has been of the highest quality.
