Review on TORC T27B1 FWT RS L T27B Full Face Modular Helmet with Blinc Bluetooth: Ultimate Protection & Connectivity for Riders by Jaya Walsh

Bought for Bluetooth but in love with the helmet. Shocked how good this helmet is.

I confess that before the appearance of this helmet I was skeptical. I've had over 30 helmets, ranging from expensive Japanese models to inexpensive models from different companies. I knew very little about torque. I was looking for a modular helmet with built in Bluetooth and found the options to be limited. Now that I have received and wear this model I am amazed at the price. This is one of the most stylish modular helmets I've seen. Its aesthetics and body profile make it look like a Schuberth C3. I now clearly understand that this helmet is not a Schuberth, I was pleasantly surprised at how well made it is for a plastic helmet and how durable it feels. Usually cheap helmets rattle and feel fragile and awkward. This helmet is nothing like this. All vents open and close and snap tightly and precisely as befits a mid-range helmet. I checked what price this non-bluetooth helmet is selling for and it's available for $125. I can say with confidence that in my opinion this is the most beautiful helmet I have seen at this price point. I confess I bought this item because it has Bluetooth, but I was shocked at how good this helmet really is. I've tried the Bluetooth Vega Summit and Nolan models and this helmet looks more like a Nolan than a Vega (despite being cheaper than the Vega). Experience with this helmet so I tried this one as they both use the BLINC system. Although this model doesn't have a screen or FM tuner, it's louder, clearer and I can hear phone calls much better than on a tirade. (Nice surprise) I was surprised at how quiet this helmet is at speed. This is the lightest modular helmet I've ever owned, which is very surprising given the price. The most amazing feature I fell in love with is the flip down visor lever system. SO many of them seem so cheap that most of them seem to break. This has no feathers. It has a slider that's easy to find with my Klim Overland gloves. I liked it so much I was tempted to buy their T14 with Bluetooth. I would buy this again. The only thing I would advise is that it's really a lot compared to my boot. I would really recommend medium over large.
