Review on CottonColors 3D Window Decals: Stylish UV Blocking Decorative Window Film for Privacy and Home Décor - 17.7x78.7 Inch by Patricia Mendoza

I bought 4 different films for 4 different window treatments ranging from fully opaque black to very transparent. I have 1 window in my living room that receives plenty of sunlight and looks directly onto a busy intersection where people walk, work in yards, or otherwise go about their day almost continuously from sunrise to sunset. I loved the rainbow effect in this film and was hoping it would allow me to enjoy all the sunshine while distorting my view of my neighbors so much that I wouldn't be able to see them coming and going all day. No dice. I can perfectly identify each person from over 10 meters away through this film, down to the style of the shoes they are wearing. to the outside it offers moderate privacy. I can still clearly see who is moving around the house at night when I face across the street, but the image is more distorted from the outside than from the inside. very easy to apply and holds up well - provided you read the instructions and remove the protective film from the side of the film facing the window. The rainbow effect in direct sunlight is beautiful. and for privacy? definitely choose something else. I used a slightly more opaque floral film with the same rainbow effect for my bathroom and I really like it. At some point I will replace it in the living room with it. but now I'm stuck on two rolls of this film because I thought I'd like it better and use it on more windows. =
