Good sound! The cable could be better.

I have been working as a musician for a long time, currently I play in a band which is becoming more and more popular lately and has about 6-8 concerts a month. I wasn't a huge fan of the sound profile of the headphones that came with the Shure PSM700 in-ear headphones and wanted to try something different. I've been using these headphones for a few months now. I've read a lot of good things about KSN and seen reviews on YouTube and Revain. I bought these particular headphones based on some positive reviews and what I understand is their sound profile. Positive: I like the sound. They are perfect for my needs. I'm a soloist and thanks to them my singing is very clear; nothing extra, just the way I like it, just enough mids to keep me happy without drowning out the lows or highs. They sit securely in my ears and I'm not afraid of them falling out due to the memory wire getting caught around my ears. They serve their purpose well and look great. Almost everyone recommended I buy foam earplugs. Not me. I am completely satisfied with the insulation provided by the rubber straps. I have enough isolation to hear myself very clearly and not be deafened by the bassist's monitor or the drums behind me. I can't believe how much we overpay for big brand IEM headphones when you have them that work so well. CONS: I only have two grouse with these headphones and both are wired/wired. 1. It's too short. A few inches more wire makes them much better to use, a little more to allow for more movement.2. Wire has a twisted/braided appearance, is not smooth to the touch, more like "ribbed" or rough. I don't find these to be a good choice for those using them as an IEM on the back of a shirt because they tend to snag on clothing and collars. The wire doesn't slide down the back of my shirt easily when I want to adjust or take it off. Also, it's not easy to move since the cord is short as it is. It's hard to explain, but those of you who have used headphones will know what I'm talking about. I really wish they came with a small suitcase. I will buy a new/longer cable so they are more convenient to use.
