First of all, this is a great vest. The leather is of good quality and looks good overall. Various pockets, hidden and not, offer you plenty of storage space for everything you need. Size measurements appear to be reliable, which is not always the case. "Armor" is just padding on the back. This probably makes it more comfortable when you recline, but I doubt it offers any real protection if you fall or anything. There is also a company logo on the front zip. I think you can cut them off but they should be leather stretch. All in all a good vest for the price.
