Review on 🍷 Vinturi Black Red Wine Aerator with Base for Enhanced Flavors and Silky Finish by Pamela Jackson

Most likely a fake! details below.

Large cracks appeared on the instrument (no ultrasonic welds). My relatives have an authentic Vinturi (purchased from a reputable local retail store). A careful examination of the device and packaging revealed that this item is most likely a counterfeit as can be seen from the following. On the original packaging the product is made in the USA, the Vinturi lettering on the packaging has a "V" area partially filled in red (which likely represents wine). "V". The seams on the product are more visible and slightly uneven, indicating poor sweat quality, and the material is much softer than the original product's hard polycarbonate. My relatives Winturi is 4 years old and has been used at least 4 times a week and has NO rips or tears on the product. We only wash this product by hand while my relatives usually wash it in the dishwasher. Finally, the UPC code is completely different, and while my related UPC shows up as Vinturi in the iOS UPC scan and search app with no problem, this product comes back as 'unknown'. When in doubt, order it and see for yourself. Just make sure you're within the return period, because unfortunately I'm not. photos to follow
