Near Perfection in Portable DVD Players

When Deck first came out, I thought it was too expensive for what seemed like a gimmick. I have since bought HD in-ear headphones and I think they are one of the best sounding headphones for the price. When I saw the price drop on this speaker I thought why not give it a try. I'm very glad I did! The size is just right so as not to irritate the eyes. I bought the Gunmetal color and I think it looks very sharp. The top of the speaker is finished with a grippy soft-touch rubber. The volume buttons control my iPhone's volume slider, and the battery level is shown at the top of the display, which I really like in other Bluetooth speakers, very convenient. There is an audio output function that can be used when the device is on or off. It's rare to find and very useful, maybe hook up a subwoofer! I have to say that the speaker quality is top notch as far as I can tell. As for durability. Only time will tell, but it appears to be very durable. The best thing about this speaker is the Bluetooth range and of course the sound. I have over sixty Bluetooth speakers and this is one of the best. The high frequencies are very clean and realistic and not harsh at all, but a nice sound. The mids are so good that I can reproduce what most speakers just can't hear. Now the bass is very clean and powerful, the drums hit hard. Vertical bass can be heard from the front. What I find is that this speaker has low bass and is very tight. So overall most of the music I've tried sounds good and every instrument can be heard. The vocals are very clean and warm. The volume is enough to turn down the volume if you sit less than four feet away or it will ring! I really like this speaker and plan to use it more than most of my other speakers. Better my JBL Flip.
